The Villages® Regional Hospital Auxiliary Foundation is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Hearts for Our Hospital Big Bike Weekend!

Come join us for the free Cycling Expo and Health Fair at the La Hacienda Recreation Center, live music in the evenings at the Spanish Springs Town Square, and the Bicycle Challenge with 5 route options!

Visitors attending the Cycling Expo and Health Fair will enjoy many cycling and health related vendors and activities (including free medical information and screenings regarding blood pressure, hearing, skin damage, and body mass index).

Sat, November 11

This exciting event will join together over 500 cyclists to ride one of five route options (100, 64, 32, 17, and 10 miles) throughout Sumter, Lake, and Marion Counties.

Bonus! Free Sunday Club Ride!

Sun, November 12

All participants are invited to join the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club on a special Sunday club ride.  Extend your cycling fun on the Big Bike Weekend with this great opportunity to see even more of The Villages® and our surrounding community.  Carney Island, Lake Weir, Grand Oaks Resort (Home of the Florida Carriage Museum), Ocala National Forest, and a Tour de Town Squares are just a few of the ride options under consideration.  Go to our Schedule page for more info and to sign up!
